4cost and MoovinV form technological partnership
4cost GmbH, a leading provider of parametric cost modelling and professional costing software, announces a technological partnership with MoovinV Inc., a Canadian provider of digital procurement and supply chain solutions.
The partnership agreement was officially signed by Jacques Ouellet, CEO and Founder of MoovinV, and Joachim Schöffer, Managing Partner of 4cost, at the Aerospace & Defense Meetings in Turin, Italy, on 4 December 2025.

Partnership on equal terms – based on shared values
Michel Ohayon, CEO Europe of MoovinV, emphasises that 4cost GmbH was identified as the ideal partner based on several key factors:
- Open and innovation-driven corporate culture
- Shared values and strategic orientation
- Genuine cooperation on an equal level instead of traditional reseller structures
As part of the collaboration, the two technology providers are combining their respective strengths: sound, scientifically based cost modelling on the one hand and AI-supported supply chain optimisation on the other. Their common goal is to help industrial clients improve their performance and optimise their costs.
Integration of 4cost’s parametric cost models into the ‘JULIE’ AI environment
MoovinV’s platform JULIE supports purchasing, development and supply chain teams in identifying suppliers, evaluating components and optimising procurement decisions. An important component of JULIE is should cost analysis – i.e. the fact-based determination of what a component, assembly or material should cost, regardless of specific supplier offers.
By integrating 4cost’s parametric cost models, as used in the costing software 4cost-aces, JULIE can perform should cost analyses quickly, reliably and, in particular, across industries. This gives clients reliable cost transparency early on in the development and procurement process – providing a basis for informed make-or-buy decisions, more resilient supply chains and stronger negotiating positions with suppliers.
Beyond the current range of functions, both companies see great potential for jointly developing JULIE further. Possible enhancements include the integration of sustainability and environmental aspects into should cost analysis, as well as more detailed cost assessments through AI-supported evaluation of 2D drawings and 3D geometries.
4cost looks forward to a close and successful collaboration with MoovinV, including joint client projects and technological innovations. Together, the companies are setting new standards for AI-based cost transparency.
