4cost Client Roundtable 2025
The 4cost Client Roundtable 2025 took place in Würzburg on 8 and 9 July. In a convivial atmosphere, representatives of renowned industrial companies exchanged ideas on challenges and solutions in cost and value engineering.

The event kicked off with a keynote speech by Michael Rudius, Head of Operations at MTG Marinetechnik GmbH, on the use of 4cost-aces for reliable parametric cost estimates in the early stages. This was followed by lively discussions on a variety of topics:
- Valid cost calculations in the early stages
- Use of AI in cost calculation
- Defence and argumentation of a cost estimate
- Calculation of one-time costs for hardware and software
- Added value of parametric cost calculation for value engineering and other departments
Particular attention was paid to clients' initial experiences with the new 4cost-aces/sustain tool for calculating the product carbon footprint. ‘We were able to gather valuable feedback that will be incorporated into the further development of our costing software,’ says Joachim Schöffer, managing partner of 4cost GmbH, summarising the exchange.
In the evening, the participants enjoyed the culinary delights of Franconian cuisine.
On the second day, participants engaged in in-depth discussions about the various areas of application and numerous use cases for the 4cost costing software. ‘In the subsequent wrap-up, the participants agreed that there is immense added value in exchanging ideas with like-minded people about how to use our costing solutions,’ summarises Mr Schöffer.
