4cost at the AGRITECH Summit 2026<\/h1><\/div>

The AGRITECH Summit 2026 took place in Augsburg on 28 and 29 January. The event brought together over 120 industry representatives to discuss the transformation of production and value creation systems as well as technological innovations such as automation, AI and digitalisation in the agricultural industry.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

Once a year, the AGRITECH Summit brings together managers from the entire value chain of the agricultural machinery industry – including OEMs, suppliers, start-ups and teams from the fields of procurement, production and digitalisation – to discuss the future of agricultural technology. This year, the summit offered over 120 participants in Augsburg two thematic focal points that spanned both conference days and addressed key challenges facing the agricultural technology and supplier industries: Firstly, the transformation of production and value creation systems took centre stage, particularly in the context of smart and networked machines, digital procurement and resilient, global supply chains. The main focus here was on how modern production processes, digital strategies and innovative technologies contribute to increasing efficiency. Secondly, the focus was on technology and innovation issues, including automation, data and AI-supported systems and digital components for agricultural equipment.<\/p>\n

4cost was present at the AGRITECH Summit as an exhibitor and speaker together with its partner company MoovinV<\/a>. Joachim Sch\u00f6ffer, Managing Partner of 4cost GmbH, and sales representative Stefan Geiger presented the wide-ranging 4cost portfolio consisting of costing software<\/a> and services<\/a>. In four interactive sessions, participants were able to gain an impression of the capabilities of 4cost’s solutions<\/a>. ‘Our dialogue partners placed particular emphasis on a high degree of automation in costing and a high level of accuracy. Both are among the strengths of our software products’, says Mr Sch\u00f6ffer. \u2018We have made promising initial contacts and are already in cooperation talks with two well-known companies,\u2019 adds Mr Geiger.<\/p>\n

Together with Toni Ehrig, CTO of MoovinV, Joachim Sch\u00f6ffer presented the should-costing analysis using the AI-supported platform JULIE from MoovinV as part of an innovation pitch on stage. This uses 4cost’s parametric cost models to automatically derive cost information from CAD data and specifications.<\/p>\n
