4cost exhibiting at the Sustainability Congress 2025<\/h1><\/div>

On 5 and 6 November 2025, in Berlin’s Loewe Saal, the 4th Sustainability Congress took place \u2013 a central networking event for sustainability managers from all branches of industry. Around 150 participants gathered here to discuss innovative solutions and exchange ideas on forward-looking sustainability strategies. 4cost GmbH was there as an exhibitor, presenting its costing software 4cost-aces\/sustain<\/a> for calculating the product carbon footprint.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

Sustainability Congress 2025 in Berlin<\/p>\n<\/div>

This year’s Sustainability Congress featured a mixture of visionary presentations, practical case studies and current industry insights. The event, held in the historic Loewe Saal (a factory that once produced sewing machines, machine tools, firearms, ammunition and later also electronics), featured stimulating discussions on the key topics of risk and resilience, decarbonisation, sustainable supply chains and modern ESG performance management.<\/p>\n

The focus of 4cost’s presentation at the exhibition was the software solution 4cost-aces\/sustain<\/a>, which was developed specifically for sustainability requirements. It enables industrial companies to calculate the carbon footprint of their products throughout their entire life cycle. The resulting transparency allows well-informed decisions to be made in favour of more climate-friendly product and process strategies as early as the planning and concept phases.<\/p>\n

Joachim Sch\u00f6ffer, managing partner at 4cost GmbH, engaged in dialogue with numerous interested parties. It became clear that industrial companies are looking for professional solutions that can be easily integrated into existing processes while making the complexity of carbon dioxide calculation manageable. The costing software 4cost-aces\/sustain<\/a> meets precisely these requirements and supports companies in anchoring sustainability not as an isolated project, but as an integral part of their costing processes.<\/p>\n

A particular highlight of the congress was the presentation of the new book \u2018Successful Chief Sustainability Officers\u2019, edited by Dr Hajo Drees. Joachim Sch\u00f6ffer contributed to this work, sharing his expertise on the topic of product carbon footprints.<\/p>\n
