4cost Client Roundtable 2025<\/h1><\/div>The 4cost Client Roundtable 2025 took place in W\u00fcrzburg on 8 and 9 July. The event kicked off with a keynote speech by Michael Rudius, Head of Operations at MTG Marinetechnik GmbH, on the use of 4cost-aces<\/a> for reliable parametric cost estimates in the early stages. This was followed by lively discussions on a variety of topics:<\/p>\n\n- Valid cost calculations in the early stages<\/li>\n
- Use of AI in cost calculation<\/li>\n
- Defence and argumentation of a cost estimate<\/li>\n
- Calculation of one-time costs for hardware and software<\/li>\n
- Added value of parametric cost calculation for value engineering and other departments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Particular attention was paid to clients' initial experiences with the new 4cost-aces\/sustain<\/a> tool for calculating the product carbon footprint. \u2018We were able to gather valuable feedback that will be incorporated into the further development of our costing software<\/a>,\u2019 says Joachim Sch\u00f6ffer, managing partner of 4cost GmbH, summarising the exchange.<\/p>\nIn the evening, the participants enjoyed the culinary delights of Franconian cuisine.<\/p>\n
