4cost sponsors and exhibits at the AIRCRAFT Supplier Summit 2023<\/h1><\/div>

On 7 and 8 November 2023, the second AIRCRAFT Supplier Summit of the Berlin Institute Supply Chain Management took place at the Globana Event Campus in Leipzig. The patron and host of this year’s event was Maximilian Fahr (Vice President Procurement & Supply Chain, Deutsche Aircraft). 4cost was once again a sponsor and exhibitor at the summit to present its costing solutions for the aerospace industry<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The AIRCRAFT Supplier Summit brought together aviation industry leaders to discuss the important topic of creating sustainable supply chains in the industry. This year’s summit focussed on three key questions:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. How can we make the aviation value chain more environmentally friendly?<\/li>\n
  2. How can we make digitalisation processes more efficient and stable?<\/li>\n
  3. Which new technologies will shape the aviation industry in the near future?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Numerous suppliers took part in the event and presented their solutions and strategies to the attendees.<\/p>\n

    The Summit programme featured interactive workshops, an awards ceremony recognising the achievements of the best suppliers, inspiring talks from industry experts on future revolutions in aviation, such as the integration of eVTOLs, and various networking opportunities to foster collaboration and innovation.<\/p>\n

    Joachim Sch\u00f6ffer, Managing Partner of 4cost GmbH, gave a keynote speech on “The benefits of early and integrated costing across the entire product lifecycle”. Using several examples from the aerospace industry, Mr Sch\u00f6ffer explained the many advantages of professional costing software<\/a>. It can be used to reliably evaluate business cases and optimise products and projects at an early stage. The cost analyses also provide an optimal basis for fair negotiations with suppliers and customers as well as for cost savings in the double-digit percentage range.<\/p>\n<\/div>
